Description

The Access Life Expo is an event designed for people with mental and physical disabilities to connect with the community. On this day you will be paired up with an individual, who is disabled, for a day full of fun. There will be kayaking, fishing, arts & crafts, archery, and much more! This is a GREAT BIG Valentine from PBA to Palm Beach County. Come LOVE on West Palm Beach with us! You do not have to have prior experience working with people who have disabilities. You are not expected to administer medication, take them to the restroom, or have any prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.

If you do have some kind of special skill that will help please let us know (i.e. sign language, fluent Spanish, etc.).

Day of the event information:

Meet at the Warren Library at 7:30AM for checkin. You will need to wear long shorts/pants, sunscreen, closed toed shoes, and the PBA Workship t-shirt (if you don't have one we will have one for you). We will promptly leave PBA at 7:45AM, so make sure you are on time!

If you choose the self-driving option, you need to arrive at John Prince Park by 8:15am at the Smythe Pavillion (the park is very large, give yourself time to find the site). When you arrive on site, check-in with Kate or Chau.
